For over 20 years, I have had the privilege of serving and supporting individuals with disabilities. This work has shaped me, stretched me, and taught me more about compassion, patience, and purpose than I could ever put into words.

I know the exhaustion that comes after a difficult shift. I know what it feels like to pour everything you have into caring for someone and still wonder if anyone sees the work you do. I know the hard days, the long hours, and the moments when you have to dig deep just to keep going.

And through many of those moments, God carried me.

As Direct Support Professionals, so much of our work happens unseen. We celebrate victories others may never understand. We show up during difficult moments. We encourage, redirect, advocate, listen, and care. Yet too often, DSPs go unrecognized and underappreciated. Sometimes, we are even made to feel like the work we do is somehow less than.

But I believe this work matters. I believe DPSs matter.

Called For A Purpose Co. was created from that belief-to honor the heart behind the work and celebrate the people who continue to show up even on the hard days.

This brand is for the DSP who is tired but keeps caring. The DSP who wonders if their work makes a difference. The DSP who needs to be reminded that their compassion, patience, and presence have purpose.
